The German Federal Ministry for Economics and Energy (BMWi) uses the Energy Export Initiative (formerly the 'Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency Export Initiative') to support small-scale and medium-sized German energy companies by opening up foreign markets.
Companies that take part in the initiative all offer energy solutions in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart grids and storage facilities. The Export Initiative aims to strengthen the position of German energy technologies on the international market and widen their horizons so as to increase German technologies' market potential and foster German know-how. Geared towards the relevant export phases, the Export Initiatives offerings focus on the provision of information, business transaction initiation, putting individuals and businesses in contact with one another, and international marketing.
Make use of the Export Initiative's offerings for yourself and your own exports. On the Export Initiative website you can find useful information regarding the initiative's provisions, links to partners and their promotional programmes and websites tailored to specific topics and issues, as well as a comprehensive events calendar.
Working in conjunction with one another, the OAV and Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i) were tasked with implementing and assisting a range of the Export Initiative's measures.
