The OAV is a renowned business association that provides its approximately 400 corporate members from various industries with a strong network.
As the largest country-specific business association of its kind in Germany, the OAV represents the full spectrum of the economy. Industrial corporations, medium-sized enterprises, trading companies, banks, insurance companies, and service providers: they all share an interest in the Asia-Pacific region and are active network partners on an equal footing.
Our Mission: Close Economic Relations with the Asia-Pacific Region
Thanks to our excellent connections, the OAV stands not only for appreciative and equal-level communication within its own network. We also work closely with ministries, authorities, and embassies – both in Germany and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
In doing so, we continuously and actively promote the expansion of economic relations with this dynamic region while supporting German companies in their activities in Asia.
