Our committees - Setting the strategic course for the OAV
The East Asian Association (OAV) is supported by strong committees that make a decisive contribution to the strategic orientation and successful implementation of its work.
The Executive Committee develops the central guidelines for OAV activities and provides impetus for economic cooperation between Germany and Asia.
The Board brings together high-ranking representatives of the German Asian economy to discuss current developments in the region and entrepreneurial activities across all sectors. Individual board members also act as chairmen of the country committees and shape the OAV's country-specific activities.
The Advisory Board provides valuable institutional perspectives. Leading academics and experts, including the managing directors of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad, are involved here as representatives of the OAV in the region in order to ensure a direct exchange with the local markets.
Together, these committees form the basis for a sustainable and future-oriented association strategy.
