Our Committees – Setting the Strategic Direction for the OAV
The German Asia-Pacific Business Association (OAV) is supported by strong boards and committees that make a decisive contribution to its strategic direction and the successful implementation of its work.
The Executive Board develops the key guidelines for OAV activities and provides impetus for economic cooperation between Germany and Asia.
The Board of Directors brings together high-ranking representatives of the German business community with interests in Asia in order to discuss current developments in the region and business activities across industries. Individual members of the Board of Directors also serve as chairs of the country committees and help shape the OAV’s country-specific activities.
The Advisory Board contributes valuable institutional perspectives. Leading academics and experts are involved here, including the Managing Directors of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad as representatives of the OAV in the region, ensuring direct exchange with local markets.
Together, these bodies form the foundation for a sustainable and future-oriented association strategy.
