Baden-Württemberg International Consultation Day 2025

Baden-Württemberg is an economic region with a strong international focus. Small and medium-sized enterprises, numerous large companies, and even small businesses maintain close trade relations with partners around the world. International markets also offer start-ups in Baden-Württemberg enormous opportunities for scaling up and further development. Access to global sales markets enables young companies to offer their products and services to a broader target group. In addition, innovative partnerships with international companies can be established.

In light of current geopolitical tensions and economic changes, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups are facing new challenges. Diversifying supply chains and sales markets is crucial to minimizing risks. Digitalization and the targeted use of artificial intelligence are also becoming increasingly important in order to remain competitive. Sustainability and resilience to economic fluctuations are further key factors for long-term success.

Access to support programs, international cooperation, and investment in innovation can help companies position themselves for the future. It remains important to respond flexibly to global developments and make strategic decisions with foresight.

What can you expect at the IBT?

The International Consulting Day (IBT) organized by the Baden-Württemberg Chambers of Industry and Commerce (BWIHK) offers German companies a wide range of services provided by country experts from the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) to strengthen their international orientation and position themselves specifically on global markets.
