Let’s talk Transition! Exploring the Energy Transition in Korea and Germany
“Let’s talk Transition! Exploring the Energy Transition in Korea and Germany” is a series organized by the Korean-German Energy Partnership Team on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). It focuses on key developments in the energy transition of both countries, offering decision-makers from policy, industry, and research a platform for discussion on the current status and potential for different energy transition policies and technologies.
In light of the recent national elections in Germany and Korea, this session will explore how the new national governments are shaping the energy and climate policy. While both new governments have reaffirmed their commitments to climate neutrality and a resilient energy transition, they have also announced strategic shifts compared to their predecessors. Bringing together experts from both countries, the webinar will highlight the latest updates on policy frameworks, regulatory changes, and opportunities for bilateral cooperation. Participants will gain valuable insights into the priorities and strategies of the new governments, and what these mean for the future of the energy transition in Germany and Korea.
