“Zoom In! – Japanese-German Energy Transition Talks” is a series organized by the Japanese-German Energy Partnership Team on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). It focuses on current developments regarding the energy transition in both countries. Each session zooms in on a specific topic and offers decision-makers from policy, industry and research a platform for in-depth information and discussion on the status, development and potential for different energy transition policies and technologies in Germany and Japan.
The tenth edition of the webinar series will explore the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in driving the renewable energy transition. Expert speakers from Germany and Japan will share insights on how AI is being used to optimise energy systems, accelerate the deployment of renewable energies, and address key challenges in both markets. Participants will gain an up-to-date overview of innovative AI applications, relevant policy frameworks, and the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating AI into the energy transition. The event also provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with leading experts from both countries.
