Business opportunities arising from the hydrogen strategy in Australia

02. December 2020, Webinar

Hydrogen is considered a strategically important energy source and a vital factor for future energy supply in both Germany and Australia. Australia with its rich natural energy sources and Germany with its strong manufacturing industry and deeply rooted efforts for the energy transition offer a variety of opportunities to engage.

With a new agreement – the Joint Declaration of Intent on an Australian-German Supply Chain Feasibility Study of Hydrogen produced from Renewables signed in August 2020 – new ways of cooperation are currently being developed. Initiated by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, as well as the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany, the study aims to investigate the supply chain between the two countries on hydrogen produced from renewable energy.

What specific opportunities does H2 technology offer companies in Germany and Australia? In which fields are projects already being implemented? How can German and Australian companies work together in the field of H2 technology?

To provide you with an answer, we cordially invite you to the Webinar “Business opportunities arising from the hydrogen strategy in Australia” moderated by Willem van der Schalk – Head of the OAV Country Committee Australia and CEO of a. hartrodt with
