Infrastructure Working Group: Maritime Round Table Sri Lanka

24. March 2017, Hamburg

Colombo Port is a rapidly growing maritime hub of the South Asia region. Cargo originating from and destined to Europe, East and South Asia, the Persian Gulf, and East Africa is efficiently connected through the Colombo Port. Being the premier port in the country, it has become the focal point of all port development activities in Sri Lanka since the formation of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) in 1979. Which major port projects are in the process of planning and are there possible fields of cooperation?

We cordially invite you to discuss this question with Mr. Dammika Ranatunga, Chairman of SLPA, who will visit Hamburg on the occasion of the “Ostasiatische Liebesmahl”. The Round Table takes place in the framework of OAV’s Infrastructure Working Group.

The event aims at companies from the maritime and port development sector and will be held in English language. The catering costs will be charged to the participants after the round table.

Please register online until 17 March 2017.
