Restructuring Companies in China

09. September 2021, Webinar

COVID-19, recent supply chain challenges and new regulations like the anti-sanction law have and will have considerable impact on foreign-invested enterprises in China. While China, overall, has managed the pandemic quite well, many companies are looking for ways to cut costs, to streamline business operations and to leverage synergies.

We kindly invite you to discuss this topic in our Webinar "Restructuring Companies in China" on 9 September 2021 which we organize together with the China office of the international law firm CMS.

Guiding questions will be: Which corporate restructuring measures can be adopted by foreign investors and foreign-invested enterprises in China? How to choose the most suitable structure for your enterprise? Which issues should be considered from corporate, employment and tax perspectives?

Dr. Ulrike Glück, Managing Partner and Head of Corporate Practice Area Group and TMC Sector Group of CMS, China, Mrs. Jeanette Yu, Partner and Head of Employment & Pensions Practice Area Group as well as Mr. Gilbert Shen, Counsel and Head of Tax Practice Area Group of CMS, China will introduce various restructuring options available in China and share their insights and experience. Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions . The webinar will be held in English.
