VideoConference: Interactive session on legal issues in India

16. April 2020, Video Conference

The nationwide coronavirus lockdown in India has been extended until May 3. Since the start of the lockdown three weeks ago, the Indian economy has slowed down considerably. Apart from „essential services" that remain open, most factories were shut and non-factory employees are forced to work remotely. How do German companies in India cope with the current situation and which are their most pressing legal issues?

We cordially invite you to a video conference organised by OAV, the Indian corporate law firm Khaitan & Co and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce to address these issues. After a brief update on the current situation in India by Bernhard Steinrücke, Director General of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Vinay Joy, Partner and Member of the German Desk at Khaitan & Co will answer questions of corporate members of OAV and IGCC in an interactive session, especially focusing on the topic employment law and workforce management. Other legal topics can be addressed as well.

We look forward to receiving your questions before the session.
