Maritime Round Table

The OAV Young Leaders Maritime Round Table provides a closed platform for the discussion of current as well as future opportunities and challenges of the logistics sector and the maritime industry with relations to the Asia-Pacific region. The aim is to promote the exchange between all interested OAV Young Leaders, to expand their own network and to share experiences and ideas from their daily Asian business. The aim is to meet regularly with industry representatives, executives and renowned representatives from the maritime industry to exchange ideas across companies and engage in direct dialogue. The OAV YL Maritime Round Table thrives on the engagement of each individual and encourages initiative and spontaneity.

The first meeting of the OAV Young Leaders Maritime Round Table was held on March 24, 2021 in the digital space with a keynote speech on current developments in the shipping industry in China. Lars Anke, as Chief Representative Asia at Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG covered the current corona situation in China, the economic situation and current challenges of the maritime industry.

The OAV YL Maritime Round Table was created and developed under the leadership of Alexander Oldenburg, OAV Young Leaders Regional Spokesperson for Northern Germany, together with the OAV Young Leaders Jannes Elfgen, Lisa Gathen, Vanessa Lasarczyk and Johannes Winkler.
